The Tourism Export Council of New Zealand (TECNZ) has formal agreements with several key tourism organisations and developed a Memorandum of Understanding with each of these to enhance our relationships and build better business understanding.

Qualmark

The Tourism Export Council is committed to Qualmark and  quality standards!

Qualmark is the official quality accreditation programme for New Zealand accommodation, tourist attractions, activities, transportation and inbound tour operators.

All Full members must be Qualmark endorsed with our own set of criteria. This includes using at least 75% of suppliers who are also Qualmark endorsed across the range of categories.

As of March 2012, an exclusive ‘tourism export council inbound tour operator’ mark has been developed. This gives TECNZ members a distinct marketing advantage as non TECNZ members cannot promote themselves off-shore with Tourism New Zealand  as a ‘qualmark endorsed inbound tour operator’.

Those that have completed the process have the Qualmark Endorsed Inbound Tour Operator logo included in their listing.
