ProGuides New Zealand

The Association of Professional Tour guides in New Zealand is delighted to have recently become an Allied Member of Tourism Export Council of New Zealand. Our joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) highlights the ability for tourism entities to work more closely with each other. Through its Tourism Export Council membership, ProGuides is enjoying the advantages of having greater access to industry information through these wider networking and social opportunities.

As a Tourism Export Council member, ProGuides is able provide a critical link in the chain between Full and Allied Members and what is happening out on the coalface. ProGuides members are not only dedicated to offering first class tour guiding services, but also has the unique ability to have a ‘bird’s eye view’ of the industry. It can be a useful conduit to providing valuable up-to-date and relevant information on tourism around the country.
