SALES & MARKETING MANAGER ROLE – KELLY TARLTONS SEALIFE AQUARIUM

Auckland’s famous Kelly Tarlton’s SEA LIFE Aquarium is part of Merlin Entertainments, the leading operator of visitor attractions in Australia and New Zealand and the world’s second largest visitor attraction operator. We are seeking a Sales Manager who will manage our existing B2B relationships and deliver new opportunities across multiple B2B channels – including inbound wholesalers, local resellers and sightseeing providers, among others. This role is an integral part of delivering the attraction’s revenue targets with the support of the wider Sales and Marketing team. You will also support the regional sales team by representing the Merlin group when required.

In order to be successful in this varied role you will demonstrate:

  • Minimum 3 years’ previous experience within a B2B Sales role – tourism industry desired but not essential
  • Clean full NZ Driver’s license and use of own car
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Organised with a high level of attention to detail
  • Flexible with days and times of work
  • Ability to deliver consistently high level of customer service
  • The ability to learn our product and maximise sales where possible
  • Ability to develop strong relationships
  • Competent Microsoft Office skills
