YoungTEC Membership
Listen to our YoungTEC leaders on what inspires them as a YoungTEC member.
If you are 40 years and younger and the company you work for is a Tourism Export Council of New Zealand (TECNZ) member, we welcome you to join this young organisation for important networking and mentoring opportunities.
YoungTEC offers its members regular networking events with other young professionals working in the tourism industry, educational workshops and a mentoring and development program which gives you the most up-to-date tourism information and tips to take into your own workplace.
Regional networking groups include: Queenstown, Christchurch, Wellington, Central North Island & Auckland.
For the 2024/2025 membership year (and aligning with TEC’s financial year), these fees are:
- $50/individual
- $200/small organisation – capped for up to 10 employees
- $500/large organisation – capped for up to 20 employees
YoungTEC membership
- Invitations to regional networking events
- YoungTEC newsletters and updates
- Invitations to national YoungTEC professional development programme events such as the Masterclass series, YoungTEC Summit and Icehouse Leadership Day
- Invitations to national TECNZ events such as Conference and Xmas Symposium
- Can become a YoungTEC Regional Coordinator
- Can vote and be voted for YoungTEC Exec
Eligibility: You are aged 18-40 and are currently working for an active TECNZ member
