We are famous for golden beaches and crystal-clear water, but Kaiteriteri has so much more, from mountain bike trails, world-class food & wine, and three national parks including the Abel Tasman within a 1hr drive or boat trip.
The Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve is 250ha of land that includes Kaiteriteri Beach, Kākā Point Historic Reserve, Kākā Island, Kaiteriteri Estuary, Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park and the hills with native bush surrounding the beach and estuary.
Any profits from our campsite, apartments, restaurant, takeaway and store are reinvested to protect the natural beauty and soul of the Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve and deliver a truly authentic New Zealand outdoor recreation destination.
