We’re a family-run cycle touring business in Nelson with the aim of being the best cycle tour operator in the top of the South Island. The Gentle Cycling Company has been operating since 2009 and we proudly became the new owners last year.
We have a good fleet of Avanti and Sinch e-bikes, touring 24 speed bikes, kids bikes, and options for toddlers and infants.
Our strengths are our dedication of service to our customers. This is evident through the reviews we receive on Google and Trip Advisor, and happy smiling faces at the day’s end.
We are able to support groups as large as 20 for multi-days and larger for single days. We have 2 vans and can transport up to 19 people with bikes.
We take care of everything from the inquiry right through to farewells. Our customers like the level of care and support they receive from us, and we always go the extra mile for our cyclists. We enjoy giving them a truly wonderful, memorable experience of their Nelson trip..
