You’ll have a brilliant time in Marlborough. Our wines are world-famous, our waters are national treasures, and from the mountains to the sea, your time in Marlborough will be amazing.
Only Marlborough boasts a fifth of the country’s coastline, New Zealand’s largest wine region, and its largest high-country farm. This makes for a fantastic holiday filled with great food, wine and craft beer, and unforgettable experiences in the mountains, among the vineyards or by the sea.
Marlborough sits at the head of the Southern Alps, at the top of the South Island. Protected by mountain ranges, the temperate climate and high sunshine hours make Marlborough a fantastic year-round destination.
Marlborough – brilliant every day.

In the heart of New Zealand’s geothermal region lies Polynesian Spa, a world-renowned, natural mineral bathing and wellness spa retreat, on the tranquil shores of Lake Rotorua. Polynesian Spa has repeatedly been nominated as a World Top10 spa and has been welcoming guests from New Zealand and around the world for over 50 years. The site itself dates back to the 1800s when the first bathing houses were established for patrons to “come take the waters” in Rotorua. Many of these historic elements can be seen on site.
Channeling the geothermal marvels in its backyard, waters from two natural springs are fed into the 28 mineral pools. The sulphate rich acidic Priest Spring relieves tired muscles, aches and pains while the sodium rich alkaline waters of the Rachel Spring nourish and heal skin.
There is a decadent spa therapy menu with signature geothermal treatments on offer. From Aix spa therapies to body wraps and polishes, mud massages, aromatherapy treatments, and facials, Polynesian Spa is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature’s gift.
Many of the pools are absolute lakeside with geothermal steam softly unfurling across the natural reserve of Sulphur Bay. A mesmerising and relaxing spectacle.
A range of private and public bathing areas are available combined with wellness activities such as yoga, meditation and sound healing all easily tailored to suit both the individual and group markets.
Our on-site cafe caters beautifully prepared breakfasts, lunches and platters and serves freshly made juices and smoothies, and arguably the best gelato in the country. Cabinet food and an a-la-carte menu are also available.
No visit to Polynesian Spa is complete without a bit of retail therapy. There is a wide array of high quality gifts and products used in our therapy treatments to choose from with a full range of bathing suits, towels and other giftware on offer.

The Inbound Tour Operators Council of New Zealand (ITOC) was formed in 1971 and rebranded in 2012 to become the Tourism Export Council of New Zealand Inc.
The move has been made to better reinforce the position of tourism as a one of New Zealand’s significant export industries.
Part of the rebranding process includes a new logo designed by Somo Creative, a Christchurch-based publisher and design studio. The logo is available in a horizontal and a stacked version, and in black and white, and silver, as alternatives to the full-colour version for material printed in monochrome.
